13th Film Festival Women´s Worlds
November 20-27, 2013, in Tuebingen, Germany

Grimm's Snow White is being relocated in a bullfighting arena in 1920's Seville, a porn-addict finds the woman of his dreams – there’s just one small problem: she’s addicted to Hollywood clichés, a 94-year-old granny hikes across the USA and a courageous woman in India suddenly achieves fame from poems that she had to smuggle out of her house. Once again the Film Festival Women’s Worlds presents a fascinating selection of 34 feature films and documentaries.
The question „How are things going for prostitutes in Germany?“ is the starting point for one of this year’s focuses: „Forced Prostitution and Prostitution out of Poverty“. Several films and a round table conversation delve into this issue. A wide range of topical references into radical patriarchal worlds, but also into radical non- or anti-patriarchal worlds, as well as new discoveries and cinematic highlights enrich this year's program.
