Fernando Trueba in conversation with the audience: The Artist and the Model

Festival director Irene Jung and Fernando Trueba give an introduction to the movie “The Artist and the Model“, a movie, that Fernando had wanted to make for many years.

He explains to the audience that this film, with its origin in Fernando’s inspiration from painting and Picasso, was closest to his heart among all his movies…

…and that he did not want to postpone it any longer. “Now, that I’ve become this old I wanted to prevent the possibility that it would never be made“.

The audience rewards him with enthusiastic applause.
